25 yr old male from northern nj how do i get into the union to become a electrician?

any and all info would be helpful,im located in pompton lakes nj, i heard there is a office in parsipanny nj? what are the steps

Go over to your Local Union Hall, they'll send you to sign up for an apprenticeship.  Basic Algebra is important.  Good luck..

It is sort of a good 'ol boy deal where you have to know someone, or be well qualified. See if there is a labor hall near you and get information. It is possible that you can get some fill in work to prove yourself before the good jobs come your way.
