How does it feel riding a 250 on the freeway? Is it difficult? Frightening?

  1. If you can do the speed limit then it is no problem. Depends on the bike's top speed, and those will vary depending on the model. The only other factors are pickup if you need to merge or move quickly in traffic, and the light weight of the bike means it will tend to get blown around by the wind off of passing trucks, especially semis.

Personally I wouldn't be afraid to do it every once in a while, but if I was going to be on the freeway regularly then I would be buying a bigger bike.

  2. depends if its a road bike or off road. and what tyres you have fitted, and that you have time on that bike so that you are not scared, if you have not had time , practic of road first.

  3. if it's anything oher than the ninja 250, like a 250 cruiser, then you're gonna have a difficult time passing dangerous vehicles and etc.

  4. I have a Cheetah Touring 250cc scooter and it comes with a large windshield that deflects the wind. The front of the body is very aero dynamic as well and helps to deflect the wind.

I can get up to around 75-80 with no wind drag problems.

  5. That is awfully small

  6. SR250J-50mph cruise ok, just enough for occasional freeway speed,  can't sustain 60mph-gets too hot after abt 15 mi.  prob. not in ideal tune, only 22bhp?   smooth tho 'as good as my R60/2 (luverly beast!)
