Question:

25th Anniversary Venue In Edinburgh?

My mum and dad are celebrating their 25th anniversary and they need a venue in Edinburgh for about 20 guests. They would like their own room that you are allowed to decorate yourself (with banners and balloons, not paint) and they would also like to provide their own music to dance to after the meal. They would prefer a sit down meal that isn't too formal. Any suggestions would be helpful along with a website if possible.

Many Thanks

  1. the Ye Olde Inn in Davidson Mains Edinburgh has a conservatory attached to their lounge and I have seen people have private parties in there and they have decorated it with the usual banners etc it is not to big so i dont think that you could  have dancing but the meal is nice in there and sometimes there is live music on in the lounge  apparently it does not cost anything to hire you just have to reserve it .

  2. Apex International Hotel at the Grass Market, will rent you a room and allow you to decorate the place you can have it informal or what ever way you like ?book a few rooms and there is car park all is at your doorstep its a fab hotel well worth it and the food is great, enjoy what ever you choose and congratulations to your mum and dad.

  3. You could try Howie's at Waterloo Place - they have a room that will accomodate a private group between 12 and 26 people. The website is www.howies.uk.com
