It's going to be on the 16th of this month and I don't know what to give them. Also, if anyone of you could advice me on what I should wear would be really helpful, that way I don't have to create another question. Any help is appreciated, thank you! =]

I was invited, they're not my parents.

  1. The 25th anniversary gift is silver. It would be really cool if you could get your hands on one of their wedding pix and put it in a silver frame.

  2. Hi,

Not sure about what to wear advice - I guess it depends on where the party is.  But, for a nice gift, why not get them something that can be personalized & displayed.  And if you could tie in the "Silver Anniversary" theme that would be really great.

Here is a link to a web site that has personalized gifts  for 25th anniversaries.  Keeping with the silver theme I kind of like the silverplated toasting flutes - you could put their names & anniversary on it.  I also like the embroidered afghans alot.

Check it out for some ideas.  http://www.personalizedpresents.com/25th...

  3. Try to find out what they want or need. My in-laws 25th anniversary is next year, and she wants a huge party/re-commitment ceremony, then a trip to Italy. So for Christmas we are giving them $1,000 to help them start planning.

It really depends on the people. Maybe you can get some ideas from someone who knows them. We are a big "cash" family, though. We are always about giving (or getting) money. Some people think that's tacky, but I think those people are retarded. I'd rather have money I can use than some stupid gift I will never use and feel guilty about getting rid of.
