27 weeks pregnant. How should my stomach look like, is it ok if it looks soft sometimes??

Hi,

I got told the other day by a friend that my stomach was looking soft and that it wasnt normal (im usualy au size 10, us size 6 i think).Now its hard sometimes while other times its soft. Should it look hard all the time??

Every one is differant ,a girl I know looked about 4 months pregnant but just had a healthy baby girl ...

I'm 28 weeks pregnant and have the same thing- I never thought you could be this pregnant and still get a belly roll when you bend over. LOL.

Just the last week or two I've noticed that there are particular bits of the baby sticking out when it's hard- like I can feel a head or a back or a butt poking out in particular directions. When my belly is softer, that seems to be when I get little kicks and punches instead, so I think at those times she's floating around at the back instead of the front. Also when my bladder is full my entire belly gets hard- pretty certain that's because your bladder pushes your uterus up. Having gas can probably do the same.

no I'm 33 weeks and I sometimes feel my stomach soft as well... weird huh.. at first i was confused... wondering where my baby was but i guess its normal just the way there laying i assume... But I know that extra soft tissue is going to be the left over fatty from the baby...lol

i have 4 kids and i used to worry about that too, in bed lying down it would either feel big and hard and other times id touch it and freak out thinking,, ''where is it?''

and that was when i was in the 3rd trimester too, like you!

my 4 kids were all born perfectly healthy and great sizes,, so please dont stress, i hate other womens opinions,, they scared the h**l out of me too, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

My mum had nine kids, I remember her stomach feeling pretty soft at times, other times hard, all us kids turned out fine.
