I had a miscarriage in early June, my period returned normally on July 13th and ended the 17th. According to OPK's I ovulated 29-31 we BD'ed often as we are trying to conceive again.

Before my miscarriage my cycles were 32 days(luteal phase was on the longer side of around 18days) I hear that your luteal phases never change? My last period was 34 days ago and I have yet to start and I dont think there has been a sign of her yet but I am in day 17 of my luteal phase...are longer 38 day cycles normal?

There were 17 days from the day I started to bleed to the day I ovulated (follicular phase) and now there are has been 17 days SINCE I ovulated. I took an EPT certanity test yesterday and it was negative.

Is it possible I am still pregnant? I dont know when to expect my period!

  1. range between 21 - 40 is considered normal

  2. You're absolutely right - the luteal phase is always around 14 days long, and can range from 12-16 days. If you're charting BBTs and have 18 days of post-Ov temps, you can pretty much say you're pregnant. With only OPKs it's a little harder to say, but your signs look good!!! Keep us posted :)

Any cycle length over 24 days is fine (as long as the endometrium is thick enough by the time ovulation occurs), and under 42 is ideal but they can be way longer and you can still get pregnant.

  3. between 25-35 is normal
