  1. Stress??

  2. My granddaughter is 2 will be 3 in October..she is testing us as well, I babysit her and I had her potty trained at age 1. She is now going through the stage that she is to busy to take the time out to go potty, so we take the time to take her since has decided that playing is more important. They go through that stage..I don't think you have anything to worry...just take the time to take the time for her that she isn't taking for herself right now. She will get it again.

  3. Regression can be normal.  Are there any changes going on in your life?

  4. I've had this happen with my children.  I think for them it was related to getting busy playing and not noticing their body's signals that it was time to pee.  Also sometimes, my daughter gets frustrated that it takes too long to stop playing and use the bathroom, so I have even caught her peeing outside in the grass near where she is playing.  Once the novelty and all that wonderful praise that comes with the early stages of toilet training is gone, I think that some children just lack a bit of motivation.  With my kids, I made them do the cleaning up as much as was possible for them.  I didn't make a big deal about it but I did communicate that the only place it was ok to pee was on a toilet.  After a week or 10 days it seemed to sort itself out.  Though, I'll admit it came back a few times before it was gone for good.  Kind of frustrating as a mother, but in reality not a serious concern medically.
