2nd day in college... how do I quickly fit in(pls answer)?

2nd day, I haven't conversed to anyone but the once I already know in my college, and I'm hoping to talk to some fresh faces. what are some tricks to approuch people (and girls :P) (

just do it!!!!!!!!!!!  In class just ask questions about stuff!!
