me & hubby were just wondering today: if you had already past your driving test years ago but decided to take another test just to see if you could pass it. if you did the test & failed would they take your licence away or would you still keep it as you actually passed years ago?

  1. You would not be eligable to take a test if you have already got a full licence for that category.

You could do a mock test with an ADI or better still try the advanced test with IAM.

  2. I don't think they would allow you to sit the test because you would have to have a provisional instead of full licence to book the test.

I take it you had a car arguement!!

  3. The DVLA keep the records and do not allow anyone to resit unless ordered to do so by a court.

You can if you wish apply to take the advanced driving test with the IAM

  4. instead of doing the real test book some lessons explain to the instructor you query and he will give you a test as you would a real one

  5. in california its called adding a endosement

you have 1yrs and 3chances to complete

but if you decide not to complete this application you will not get a renewal notice unless you say void this application ! your current license is still good if you complete

and pass everything you will get a whole new license ! good luck
