Question

So I'm considering the following sub's.. I need to know what kind of amp will be good with either.. Oh, opinions are much welcome (I know Kicker's have a better rep than Visonik) I'm looking to spend $500 (amp plus sub's) total..

this would be a really nice set up and perfectly matched. people will not think you only have a single 10" sub and 500w...they will think you have a lot more than that. you would get by just under $500. however you still need a box for the sub. DO NOT GET ONE FROM BEST BUY OR ONLINE! go to you local stereo shop and have them build you a ported one. it should cost under $60...i'd build you one if you need...lmk.

wow, not a lot of room to work with. I have had one speaker that cost 475 alone.

You need to go to car toys or best buy and get a bass tube or something. Not going to be great, but will sound better than any speaker, amp and box for 500.

Good systems aren't cheap and cheap systems aren't good, unless its stolen merch.
