2nd time around... can i buff out scratches on my sax?

  1. If you have a Grinder,or a Drill, or even a Dremel Tool,you can get some polishing rouge (don't know if that is spelled right) and buffing rouge and a cotton polishing/buffing wheel. That is what was used in the manufacturing of most instruments. That puts the final polish and shine on them and removes any scratches caused when making them. You can buy those at most hardware stores,in the hardware department with the polishing stones and grinder accessories. Byee Oh,they arn't too expencive either. Byee


  2. If it's scratches in the metal, yes- use metal polish. If it's scratches in the clear finish, no- if you try that you'll probably make it worse. Take it to a repairman.

  3. brass polish, an old t-shirt, and elbow grease.....

  4. Yes but a scratched sax adds proof to the grueling tours you've played before thousands and thousands of people.
