2nd year molars?

I have come to a conclusion that I strongly believe Sully is starting to work on his 2yr molars. ALL of his other teeth are cut thru- all but one or two are completely grown in. But the past couple weeks his eating has been terrible and off and on crankies, my usual clue! And now the past couple days he's really been jamming his fingers in the back of his mouth and gnawing on them also chewing on his straws from his sippys. And he is doing better eating soft foods (pureed veggies, bananas , bread, etc). So all of this is making me think teething and the only ones left are the 2yr molars. He's always teethed early, so could it really be his last molars coming in? He'll be 16m on Tues. I don't know what else could explain it. Thankfully his sleep is still going good, for now! I probably just jinxed it!!!!

  1. It's totally possible, and you seem to know his signs. The schedule tooth arrival time is a guideline. My niece was born with 3 teeth .. so they can come whenever.
