Question:

3-1-1 rule tottally confusing me right now....?

can i bring like 6 items that's less then 3oz. if they fit in a quart-sized ziplocked bag or is it just like 1 item per person???

  1. I had much more than just 6 items that fit into my ziploc bag. The one thing you want to make sure of is that they are all full trial size or travel bottles, NOT large bottles than you assume have oooooh about 3 ounces left in them. You won't be able to get them on a plane. And they should all be UNOPENED.

  3. Ok, here is what you do.  As long as it fits into the quart container, you are fine.  

    3-1-1 for carry-ons = 3 ounce bottle or less (by volume) ; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger placed in screening bin. One-quart bag per person limits the total liquid volume each traveler can bring. 3 oz. container size is a security measure.
