I need a cable with a male 3.5mm on one side and a male RCA stereo on the other side. I can buy this at radioshack but i actually want to make my own, and i don't know how to cross the wires. Does anybody know?

  1. Just get a wire from the RCS plug shield to the bottom of the 1/8" plug. You might now wonder you have to connect the tip of the 1/8" to the tip of the RCA. You're done!

  2. be sure the connectors are stereo and solder

3 wires left, right and ground to each lead
