$3-$6 Texas Hold 'Em question...?

How does the betting structure work in a $3-$6 Limit Hold 'Em game? Wouldn't it be $1.50 for the small blind, then $3 for the big blind and then a minimum bet of $6 after the turn? Just curious how this works because I've never seen a casino having a chip in a 50 cent increment.

most casinos in a 3-6 game would be $1 small blind and $3 big blind, $3 bets before and after flop ,$6 bets on turn and river.

the $1.50 you see is only really used online, if at all.
