World war II, 9/11 depens on which country you live in, it definitly changed the world for most americans, but i can't say it did for other countries, i don't agree with world war I, most people don't even know whats it about, i personally think technologie changed the world, like computers and tv's , and also aids... many people that died from aids mostely in continents like afrika but also in the rich countries

WWII changed the known world as we know it.

The Space Program advanced incredible technology that pretty much gave us all the fancy electronics we use today, among other things like Velcro.

The American Revolution allowed people from all parts of the world to come together and break away from the standard aristocratic Europe and RE-invent (notice I did NOT say invent) and new way of government and social way that brought it to a major world power.

OR....we can just say the invention of the WHEEL!

*WWII- Definitely changed history. I think it was the first time in modern world that a country really tried to re-conquer and take over the world. Plus, we get the making of the atomic bomb, the bombing of hiroshima, the dawn of the nuclear warfare.  

*Fall of the Roman Empire- It's the fall of one of the biggest empires and influential ones that the world has known.

*1969- First man on the moon.
