3 Step Approach Tips?

ok so i have more volleyball tryouts tomorrow and today we learned the 3 step approach for some reason i can never manage to keep my arms to go bac and do this correctly plzzz some one any tips or any video's that show how to correctly spike

  1. WELL  try to think of it like your diving into  pool if you ever watch pro divers they always swing their arms back that'ss how i learned it

Well, I've played volleyball for going on 7 years now so maybe this will help.....If you are taking a 3 step approach after the 3rd step, your feet should come together and your arms should go back as far as they can. Then, when you jump, both arms should go up in the air and with your non-hitting arm, you should direct your hit.....if you cant keep your arms back, the only thing to do is practice, practice, practice! Approaches and footwork take time and practice to perfect...there really isn't a short cut to it.
