3. What is petrol? Where does it come from and how was it formed? Is this resource renewable or non-renewable?

Petrol comes from oil which was formed from prehistoric flaura and fauna buried deep underground for millions of years. We drill down to it, pipe it to a refinery and turn it into petrol.

It is NOT renewable.
