ok, I work at a shelter for teen girls. so last night when I was working a 16 year old pregnant hispanic girl woke up to tell me she's been having nightmares about torture and people killing people and stuff. she was totally freaked out because she kept waking up at 3 am from these nightmares every single night. exactly at 3 am. she asked me if I knew what 3 oclock meant and of course I had no clue, but she wouldn't tell me. I came home and asked my dad about it. he told me she could have been exposed to "santaria". but he wouldn't tell me really what santaria was other then, it's kind of like voo doo. can anyone explain all of this to me? do you know what 3:00 might mean to that girl? and what "santaria" might have to do with it? serious answers only please. I would apreciate your help very much.

  1. i donno waz sataria or anything... but i guess ,some incident  related to 3am is registered in her mind n hence her sub-concious is reminding her of it  daily. now that u said shes pregnant , more pressure is being fallen on her  n shes wants some kinda mental security .... may god bless her

  2. 3am is supposedly the Dead Hour, Devil's Hour or the Witching Hour or something along those lines. Some people say that it has something to do with the time that Christ was crucified, some say it has to do with most people being asleep and therefore spirits can walk freely. It's on stuff like GhostHunters and the Exorcism of Emily Rose.

I don't think its directly connected to Santeria, then again all I know about Santeria came from Sublime.

  3. The question is what does SHE believe because it means something to her and she is telling herself this. To gain knowledge of what we don't know, it is best to listen than to speak. She has the answer and if she don't please don't fill her head with voodoo. she is already reeling in the weakness.

  4. Yes,it is Voodooism.
