3 american hostages?

I was talking to my DH and I was like "will the goverment pay the 3 guys for being held hostage for those 5 years" and he said he didnt think they would.. have you heard if they will? and if not do you know of any type of fundraiser they might have. I would put some money towards it. I would hope they could get enough money so they dont have to work and can vacation for the next 5 years of there life. To make up for the last 5 years that they were held against there will.

The gov will no pay them any money. (the gov didn't get them kidnapped, nor did the gov do it)

there probably are already orgs that have been raising money for the families and they will continue, probably beyond the time where they will need it.

The American people are very generous on the individual level (Republicans more than democrats if you can believe it, sorry for the political intrusion in you question)
