okay i currently have an alpine 4 channel 200 watt rms powering a pair of tweeters, and 2 pair of 6-1/2's . I wish to add a pair of 6x9 infinity kappas and also 2 mtx 12" subs at 250w rms each. I was thinking about adding the kappas to my existing alpine amp but i figured since they are 2 ohm speakers it wouldn't work out too well. So i'm thinking my best bet is to add a 2 channel amp for the kappas and a monoblock amp for the 2 subs (correct me if there's a better way to do that) . If adding the two amps "is" a good idea than i would like a general explanation about how to wire them and set them up etc. thankyou

  1. Run a distribution block from the battery to a location near your amps.  Then the amps plug into the distribution block.
