  2. Assuming they are observing the speed limit, yes, it's legal.

    It's also selfish, inconsiderate, and egocentric of each of the drivers, allowing no one to pass. I await the day cops give tickets for selfishness.

  3. no it isn't illegal. it's just annoying to those on the road that would want to pass them up.

  4. you are only ment to go into the outside lanes when over taking.so you could be done for reckless driving.

    you may get a jobsworth of a copper or one of those motorway wombles, who may decide to look upon it as you racing each other, if not that then the one in the outside line will be fine but the middle and near lines may also look like they are trying to undertake which is illegal
