3 clocks are ringing at different times when will they all ring together the next time? (math ? details below)

if one clock beeps every eight minutes another beeps every ten minutes and another beeps every 12 minutes amd they all beep at 3 O'clock what time will they all beep at the same time again?

At 5, at 7, and so on.  Every two hours.  The least common product of 8, 10 and 12 is 120.  120 = 2 x 60 or 2 hours.

SillyJilly, when I went to school, 10 did not divide evenly into 72.  Maybe in your world it does.

then again at 24 minutes past 5 & so on every 72 minutes

The lowest common demoninator of 8, 10 & 12 is 72

72 minutes from 3o'clock is 4:12
