3 cushion billiard book of shots?

Question

was wondering if there is a good book or video, of 3 cushion billiard shots. not looking for an instructional, but looking for a book or dvd, of like the 99 critical shots in pool, but for billiards. and even 1 for snooker. a book but nothing but saftey shots would be cool as well. if i learn 1 new saftey in my aersonal, would be worth me reading the book. thanks

Books I've seen mostly teach diamond systems, besides classic instruction. I haven't seen a book on general safety play, but Willie Jopling (Bill Marshall) did some for one pocket and one of his old videos. Buddy Hall also talked a little about the push-out in one of his videos.

I concur, Standard Book of Pool and Billiards by Robert Byrne is an invaluable source of information for a 3 cushion player. There's more to it that just that though. There is a wealth of information from cover to cover on every aspect of playing pool for the anyone ranging from novice to a seasoned player.

Of all the great instructional books on pool, billiards, and snooker, I think Robert Byrne is the best when it comes to instruction, tips, diagrams, stories, and stats.
