  1. Bomb bombs and more bombs.

  2. I will try to answer sensibly, even if it is for your homework.

    1.      Failure to defeat the British Royal Air Force in the Battle of Britain.

    2.      Attacking the Soviet Union.

    3.      The entry of the USA into WW2.

  3. Why? When?

    Germany is doing quite well!

  4. they lost the 2nd Battle of the North Atlantic ( 1939-1945; the 1st was 1914-1918)

    they lost Stalingrad

    they lost Normandy

  5. Mentioning which war or football match you mean would be a good idea.  Should it be the 1966 World Cup Final, then the attack on Russia in 1941 turned out to be a bad match plan, the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour got round the German offside trap by bringing the US into play, and the Allied invasion of Normandy in 1944 opened up the way to the winning goals being scored in extra time.

On the other hand, should you perchance be referring to the Second World War, then any one of the three goals scorred by Geoff Hurst come readily to mind.

Or you could mean World War 1, the European Championship final against Spain in June...
