Im gonna arrive in JFK from San Jose,CA at 5:43 am and I'm supposed to go straight to LGA to catch my international flight at 8:30. Is it possible with the customs and the luggage? if it's not, is it possible with an hand luggage (I guess i'll have to figure out how) or can i let the heavy luggage at LGA before going to california, for them to be ready at LGA when i'll leave. I mean is there a trick, whatever, that i could use to let me not to miss my flight?... I feel like the bus is long, especially if i have to catch my luggage before...and i don't know about the traffic at that time of the day...

  1. you should be fine, it's only about 25 minutes between the two and that early you'll have little traffic, as long as your plane to JFK is ontime you'll be ok...also only take one checked bag, and one carry on and keep them under 50lbs or you'll be paying big $$

  2. The direct bus takes about an hour; you might consider other types of transportation. You're calling it close, although note that you won't be going through customs.

If you're not leaving for a while, you might consider shipping your luggage to your destination and just having a carry on.
