The MAIN thing about special ed in schools is the corruption. Schools do all they can to get out of helping the child.

special ed is mandated by laws called IDEA 'individuals with disabilitites education act' . THis law mandates a step by step process for parents and schools to follow concerning special ed of the child.

I have NEVER heard of a school that does right. When a parent DOES say the school is doing right, they usually find out later that they were bluffing and making the parent think they were right.

There are so many places you can find info on this.

If schools would do right and follow these FEDERAL laws, teh child could get the help needed.

Or maybe pick out 3 classifications under IDEA ( Hearing Impaired, autism, behavior, specific learning etc.
