I asked this question earlier, but didn't get a lot of responses:
He injured his knee around 5/6 weeks of her life, and has since required surgery and a lot of time off of his feet while healing. She is now 3 months old (15 weeks), and definitely shows a preference for me when she is upset and wants to be comforted. He is very bothered by this, as he wants desperately to be the "apple of her eye" the way that he was before. He does not show frustration or react a certain way when he can't calm her, but what can we do to help her get used to him again and help her react to him the way that she does to me (which is what happened prior to his injury). It's important to realize that he is NOT frustrated with her. He is very loving and caring. They spend lots of time together, and he lays with her, he just can't calm her and she shows an obvious preference for me. Any suggestions are welcome.
