3 month old with chicken pox?

my 2 year old has chicken pox and has been around the baby so im pretty sure she will get them to. should i take her to the doctor?

and what can i do to make the itching not as bad?? is there a way to get rid of them?

  1. there is a 10-14 day incubation period, so she may already have them but not showing the physical symptoms, by then its too late nad you just have to treat the symptoms and let it run its course.

    eurax or calamine lotion takes the itch away, but on a baby that young, i would definately speak yo your dr about how you can treat the pox if she gets it.


  2. If you are getting regular vaccines, i think they include a chicken pox one now, but either way, i would definantly call your doc and tell them whats goin on, pox are only dangerious to little babies and older people.
