  1. h**l Ya He can Win!!!!!!!!!! Did you see some of his shots like his 5 iron low rolling punch shot of about 145 yards He knows how to play links golf..........TIGER WHO????????? lol

    GO SHARK GO

  2. well with the lovely Chris "pulling it off for him every night" for him...it should be great motivation

    GO Shark

  3. I think if he can keep his drives straight and keep making his putts, he will have a great shot. I'm definitely rootin' for him. This would sure be up there.

  4. Right up there with Rocco Mediate almost winning the US open.... ?

Or with Tiger winning with a broken leg? Wow, what a year for comebacks!  ME NEXT!

  5. I'd have to rank Norman's win, if he wins, in the top 3 most amazing stories in Professional Golf tournament history (though I am only 38 and my memory of the PGA tour is limited to those years)!

He's 53!  He's been cursed his entire life with "choking" in front of millions of eyes!  He's been so close to the lead, or at the lead for all 3 tough rounds on a course that is eating great golfers like bangers and mash!  He's doing it at the British Open - I know the U.S. sees their Majors as more important for them, but the British Open is the tournament that celebrates the origin of golf!!

I hope he does it, but I am a little fearful for him!  It's got to be an unimaginable weight on his mind right now and tonight...   If he was a few shots off the lead and put up a great round on Day 4, I think that would be the way he would win.

A lot of great golfers in the past few days have exploded on a single day... Norman has not done that yet!  I think he shoots a 75 tomorrow and loses by a few shots to one of the guys 2 or 3 shots off right now.

Still... Go Shark Go!!!  No one will EVER forget this win if you do it!  Your name will be remembered in 200 years at the British Open!

  6. Right up there with Jacks  last win at the Masters.  He has been nothing less than awesome.

He has taken c**p his whole career about folding, etc,  all the while being the number playing and winning a ton of tournaments.  At one time he won more tournament than anyone over the world.

He has been one of the greatest spokesman and ambassadors for golf the world has ever seen.

I hope he pulls it out and big!!!!!
