Question:

3 seperate switches, socket recieves power but no lights?

I decided to update my switches, now none of the lights turn on from this specific box. 2 way-3 way- 2 way set up. With the switch on, the socket of the correct light will detect power using a voltmeter (120w). I have checked the wiring and reset the breaker. The bulbs are good. The switches are also good too.

Why aren't the light bulbs lighting up? Are my neutrals mixed up? How could I check this?

  1. It's so easy to mess up a 3 way switch. And when you have two , I'm not surprised.

What you need to do is kill the power to the switches.

Use a OHM meter and identify every wire.

Use a wire diagram and start over. And make sure you have the correct switch (3-way)
