  1. 1. One to two years depending on feeding. And most California kings only grow to 4 feet in length. Only a small percentage reach 5 feet or more.

    2. The older the snake, the longer it takes since their metabolism slows down. For one the size of yours, about a week.

    3. They shed an average of every two months. Just like defecating, the frequency of sheds slows down as they grow older.

  2. 1) With a 7 day feeding schedule, prob about another 2 years.

    2) About 3 days.

    3) Hard to tell. I would say about every 2 months or so.

You should consider feeding him every 4-5 days until hes up to eating adult mice. Not only for better growth, but its healthier for a growing king snake.

  3. 1. another two years at the earliest, probably more

    2. usually a king snake will p**p very quickly, generally from 2 to 5 days after eating.

    3. King snake will probably shed every 2 to 4 months

  4. 1.  2-4 years.

    2. A week or less, typically.

    3.  As babies, they'll shed 1-4 times per month depending on growth rate.  As adults, they'll shed every few months.
