3-way scrimmage???4way scrimmage?

Question

i play football and out next scrimmage will be 3 way scrimmage. what is this mean?

Team A and Team B will play against each other while Team C sits out.  

Then Team A and Team C will play against each other while Team B rests.

Then Teams B and C will play each other while Team A rests.

They may repeat this process 2 or 3 times.

It gives each team the chance to make the most effective use of their time, plus practice against different styles of play.

Depends.

Team A offense vs Team B defense

Team B offense vs Team C defense

Team C offense vs Team A defense.

This usually requires alot of 2nd team guys to play alot, and is the best in my mind. Alot of guys play both ways, but if your starting RG is also a starting ILB, then the next ILB gets alot of work.

Some teams teams prefer to do what the others said and have a team run 10 plays against another D, while one team sits. Then just rotate in.Alot of wasted time though

Team A might start offense and Team B defense then after they finish they will bring in Team C to play which ever team decides to stay in. For example Team A is now on defense against Team C when this finishes Team B will play offense against Team C which is now on defense
