I was given three orphaned 3 week old kittens this morning, i was told by pet smart to feed them once every four hours by bottle. but i cant get them to take the bottle. I am really worried about them, they are crying every now and again but I cant tell if they are board or starving. HELP me get my kittens to take the bottle!!

  1. They should take a bottle at three weeks but you may need to tube feed them at first.

Try wetting the bottle's nipple with a little KMR so they get a taste.  Just be careful to not force the milk on them; aspirating could lead to infection.

  2. you need to feed them with a medicine dropper like they use for babies..and they sel powdered kiten food like formula sort of...

  3. Get a syringe from a pharmacy and use that, you can squeeze the formula directly in their mouth and they won't have to suck.  3 week old kittens don't cry because they are bored they cry because they are hungry.

I am very surprised petsmart would release 3 week old kittens, they adopt out for other agencies not themselves.
