  1. Hamsters do not require vaccinations. They can get more illness from you than they can give you.

  2. there are no vaccines approved for use in hamsters, and it's not a requirement for them either.

rabies is required for all domesticated pets that an approved rabies vaccine can be used.  but should a hamster contract rabies or any other common disease that other pets are vaccinated for they will die long before the virus can be spread to humans or other pets such as a dog or cat.

so you don't need to worry.

  3. Not really. None of mine have been vaccinated. I'm not even sure what you could vaccinate them for since the nearest vet I know of that specializes in small animals is about 4 hours away from where I live. If they already have a disease it's too late and it is never a good idea to mix hamsters from different pet stores or breeders(that might spread disease) anyway because of fighting, so really there is little risk of your hamsters "catching" something.

  4. Hampsters are one of those animals that do not require vaccinations. Im not sure why but I dont think they even have any that exist for them.

  5. Not to sound cruel, but if you have baby hamster's, you probably have a lot of them. A good portion will probably die for several and natural reasons, the other is hamster's only have a life span of about 3 years  if your lucky. They are VERY susceptible to respiratory issues, so my advice to keep them warm and dry and you should have fun with them. Vaccinated hampsters is a waste of money.
