3 weeks to get in soccer shape?

Hello...help.

I have 3 weeks before im trying out for a womens soccer team. I played soccer in college (D1) and some semi-pro, but that was about 8 years ago. im severely out of shape (just started jogging again about a week ago).

what can i do for the next 3 weeks to get myself ready? i know the basics...get touches on the ball...jog...la di da...but its been so long. without a coach or a trainer im a little lost. ha.

  1. You have to run. That is a must, running will help you run up and down the field. Jogging can help you start but if you run that will get you slimmer and help you be able to run for a long distance. Run by the miles, the more the better. Practice shooting, and get your touch back with some footwork to get your feet going. Also, you can watch soccer tapes to get your tactical skills back so you know what your doing on the field.
