okay i have got a 3 year old bearded dragon, ive only had him 3 days but he hasnt eaten. should i be worried yet?

i know he needs time to settle in his new home, the temperatures are all correct, but all he wants to do is burry himself away and sleep all day.

ive been offering also grated carrot and watercress but still nothing, could it be that he doesnt like them greens and would preffer something like strawberries? also the live food that he is turning down are locusts.

should i just give him a couple more days to settle?

  1. hi now its winter months some dragons go into brumation mode witch is like hibernation, there food intake drops to nothing and they just hide away or sit there with there eyes shut. if this is the case you can lenghten the daylight hours so it thinks its summer then it should perk up in around 4-5 day give or take,it worked with mine and my brothers. also you said that you just bought it,did you buy the viv and lights second hand if so do you know when the uv light was changed because it might of gone out of date You should change your uv light every 6-12 month. If no any better soon take it to the vet
