I have 2 girls and am expecting a 3rd. My oldest is 5 and the soon-to-be middle is 3. My 5-year-old has her ears pierced, but we got them when she was only 8 months. Now my 3 year old wants her's pierced, too. Should I get them done??? Or wait???

  1. wait for what?

  2. Explain to her that she has to help keep them clean and that it is going to hurt when she gets them pierced but if she understands let her get them done. She just wants to be like her big sister

  3. I think you should get them for her since she is asking and the reason she is asking is because her big sister has them. my daughter is 3 and she has her ears pierced.

  4. sure why not, just go to a place where they will do both ears at the same time, cuz after you do one it's hard for them to sit for the second one

  5. yes cause she is a girl and it not fair that the oldest have her ears pierced.

  6. get them done:]]

i got my first ones done when i was 2 or 3 weeks old:]]

they seem to heal better the younger you get them done..:]]

  7. well yes I think you should probablly go ahead and do it. But leave it up to her once they sit her in that chair and rub the alcohol on her because she may just deciede that getting her ears peirced isnt that cool after all. And if she does jump down then just reassure her thats fine and bring her back in a month. And keep doing it untill she doesnt jump down then you know she is ready. And if she doesnt jump down the first time then she was ready.

a good clean place to get it done is claires or claires sister store Icing

  8. My 3 year old told me she wants her ears pierced like mummy's,but the next day she didn't mention it so i left it at that.

You will need to explain to her that it hurts, she will probably stop going on about soon.
