3 year old in the front seat... please help?

Ok here it is. I have an 8 mth old with a guy who has a three year old daughter. He recently moved his daughter's car seat into the front seat of his car. He says he turned off the air bags but I still know there are many dangers of having a child that young in front, other than the stupid air bags. He refuses to put her in the back seat, and I'm scared that when my son is older, he'll do the same thing. Please, PLEASE tell me everything you know about the dangers of having a toddler in the front seat, so I can convince the moron that he should move her seat to the back.

Its a lot more safer if the kid is in the back, I mean if someone was to hit the car in the back the baby would be protected by the seat in front of it, and if the kid sits in the front it may have the dangers of the dash coming loose and hitting the baby.

It is not only dangerous for small children to be in the front seat, it can also be illegal in some states.  Check your state's law by calling the state department of transportation and asking.  Good Luck!
