Okay..so me and my mom are helping teach 3 year olds at vacation bible school. And we get done with the lesson really fast. So we wanted to play some games, but we can't think of any. So far we have red light green light and simon says. Any ideas? All answers are appreciated! Thanks!

  1. OK so why don't you split the three-year olds in to two teams  and ask them each questions about the lessons or previous lessons to earn points and which ever team has the most points should earn a prize like candy

  2. At 3 they could start learning basic motor skills like throwing a ball. It'll be difficult for them to grasp but make it a game for them so they don't get frustrated.

Simon says is a difficult concept for kids that little to understand unless you really sit and   go through it step by step.

  3. 3 year olds are pretty hard to entertain but Simon Says is always a winner, dancing to music works, the hokey pokey, freeze dance (play music and stop it randomly, any kids that move are "out" until the next round), duck duck goose, tic tac toe, I spy.   OR there are activities like coloring, board games etc.

  4. Do you have any sports equipment like soccer balls they could kick? Also maybe get some art supplies...

  5. you can get some puzzles that they can do, hide and seek, follow the leader, and you can also do other creative stuff such as watch movies.

  6. My daughter loves puzzles, red light green light and Mother May I.  Have fun.  Take them outside.  Follow the leader.  Teach them fun songs with actions - or practice the ones you are learning at VBS.

  7. Good games that they understand and aren't hard to catch on to. Some like: Simon Says..Duck Duck Goose..Finger Painting..Outside Activities {Jump rope, kickball, relay races..etc.}. Girls may like dress up games..so maybe get some make up and Princess themed toys. For the boys maybe ball games such as basketball, soccer, flag football. And last baking desserts or something so they can take home.

  8. honestly their 3-year olds..teach them the lesson and then let them get their energy out and ran, play around.(safely of course). The parents will thank you. When soon as they get home their child is knocked out, and sleeps the entire night.
