  1. If you work really hard, then yeah you can lose 30 pounds in 4 months...watch what you eat and exercise like h**l and you can do it. you gotta have drive though

EDIT yeah i agree with ben when he says that if you weigh like 300 pounds it would be easier to lose 30 than someone who weighed like 150.

  2. first things first you have to be losing  this sort of weight for the right reasons and secondly you need to be losing this weight in an extremely safe way. that means if possible get a trainer to help you monitor your intake and weight loss, that also means not over working yourself so if you go to the gym for 30 minuets and you get tired stop or take a break for water. but if done safely 30 lbs in 4 months is reasonable! just make sure to listen to your body. and you don't have to do it if you don't feel it's right or you are questioning it's reasonability.

  3. Somewhat. There are 16 weeks left in the year, and if you diet healthily you can expect to lose 1 - 2 pounds per week. This comes out to about 16-32 pounds. This also depends on how overweight you are now. If you are very overweight, weight might come off very fast for the first few weeks. If you are closer to your target healthy weight, it will be a bit slower. You'll be pushing the limit, but it is quite possible to do it, or if not then to come quite close.

It's good to see that you have set yourself a long term goal, rather than most people who come here asking how to lose 10 pounds before dawn. Best of luck!

  4. if you are really commited and focused on losing those 30 lbs then you will succeed.

they say the healthy amount of weight to lose a week is between 3-5 pounds so as long as each week your goal is to lose around that much you should be more than fine :)

just make sure your watching what you eat; try and eat healthier foods and limit the calorie intake you usually take but also remember to cheat somedays because its good for you and it tastes good.

and if you can try to excersize keeping your body toned.

    hope this helps,

    good luck

    :)

  5. It'll be really hard if that's all you have to lose before your goal. If you're like 500 lbs trying to lose 30 it'll be easier than someone trying to lose it at 140 lbs.

No slip-ups allowed but it's possible.

  6. kinda its like 2 lbs. a week. do some kind of cardio strength class. It's def. worth it.
