  1. 3 hours. You take $241.95 - $115.95= 126, then divide that by 42, and you get 3.

  2. (Final Bill) = (Initial Cost or Parts Cost) + ($42/hour)(hours mechanic worked)

    (241.95) = 115.95 + 42x

    -115.95      -115.95

    126 = 42x

    x=3

    3 hours

  3. 3 hours

    because you have to subtract 115.95 from 241.95 to find out how much the parts were, and they were $126 and then you have to divide $42 by that to find out how many hours he worked on your truck and the answer is 3.

  4. it took 3 hours to fix the truck   all i did was subtracted 115.95 from 241.95(looks like this  $241.95

                                       -

                                     $115.95

                                      ______

                                      $123.00

    then i divided 123.00 by 42.00  that equals 42.00

  5. it took him 3 hrs.  first you take how much it cost him, 241.95 and subtract how much the parts cost, 115.95..  That leaves you with 126.00  You then divide 126 by 42 to see how many hours it took him which is 3.

  6. ok, let's simplify this:

    241.95 - 115.95 = 126

    126 divided by 42 = 3

  7. Answer it yourself its probs homework or something lmao

    Take away 115.95 from 241.95 and then divide the answer by 42.00
