3:00 AM and how its like supposed to be haunted?

why do they call 3:00 AM the "witching hour" b.c i dont understand what they're really telling me on the internet and like on paranormal state on t.v they call 3:00AM dead time? i was just wondering

i've never seen the exorcism of emily rose but i use to practice in the dark arts of majick wich i regret like h**l but from 12:00 A.M. to 3:00 A.M. is the witching hour the time when spell casting becomes the most potent and from 3:00 A.M. to 5:00A.M. is the demon hour where demonic possession can happen more and were demons try their worst to lash out on humanity

That's just c**p... the third hour though is supposed to be the time when real demons that possess people and stuff get agitated and all because that's the hour when Jesus died or something like that. That's something my grandpa told me a long time ago. If I'm not mistaken watch the Exorcism of Emily Rose; it has something on the third hour.

Between the hours of 3 AM and 5 AM the veil between the worlds are at their thinest,this is a time when many  people pray or make offerings or are able to see and hear spirits.It isn't Bad or Good ,it is just  what it is.It's most often the time when crossed over family members with visit or contact you in your dreams.

they call 3:00 am the witching hour etc etc. because supposedly  3:00 pm was the exact time jesus died on the cross. because i read that when jesus died at 3:00 pm that was when every1 was forgived for all their sins so therefor its a holy time. and since 3:00 am is the opposite of 3:00 pm its the time when all the demons of h**l and evil thing come out to"play" and reek havoc.

I used to stay up till pretty late, whether I'm outside having supper with friends at home doing work. Sometimes till 4 or 5 am in the morning.

Other than the movie, I guess the best explanation I can give, it's because 3am is between 12am to 6am. And it's the quietest time during the break of the day. So it thus give you that kind of chilling and spooky feeling. Everyone's asleep and of course, it's very quiet... And people's imagination loves to grow wild and start to imagine that all witches and all appear at that time.

Whereas, from about 5am onwards, people start to wake up and get ready for the day. Hence, probably that's why 3am is known as 'witching hour'. :)

supposedly Jesus died at 3 pm so 3 am as the opposite of 3 pm would be "devil's hour" or whatever name you want to call it. Personally i think it's a load of bullcrap

As a matter of fact I'm so d**n tired that every night at 3 am an army of demons couldn't wake me up( specially when I'm drunk lol)..
