30mg Morphine not working at all?

I was in a terrible car accident, I don't want to get into it. I am even in counseling because of the trauma, so I'd rather just skip explaining that part, PLEASE? I have been prescribed 30mg Morphine. I was on 10mg but it didn't do anything for me. So he gave me the 30mg. Still nothing. Is there something I can do to make it better? ANYTHING? PLEASE?

Apparently you're not in too much pain to type.  I say suck it up and stop being a sissy.  Any more drugs will just kill you, so unless you think that death is preferable to some temporary pain, I suggest you put up with it.

Morphine is about as strong a pain reliever as you can get.  Is it MS Contin?  That's an extended release form that is basically like taking 3 10 mg doses of morphine over the course of a day.

If you're tolerant (been taking opiates for a while), then ask your doctor for a higher dose.  They also have fentanyl patches (Duragesic) for opioid-tolerant patients that are the equivalent of up to 200 mg morphine.
