I have been getting headaches a lot lately but I normally just blow them off. I can't blow them off anymore and I don't believe in taking any medication while pregnant unless told to by my doctor. Also I am getting blurred vision that just started today and wouldn't go away. I had to blink a few times and shake my head for it to go back to normal. What causes this and how can I change it?

  1. Call your doctor now!  These are both warning signs of preeclampsia and gestational diabetes.  Don't wait for this to go away on its own.

    All the best to you.

  2. Pre-eclampsia and or high blood pressure, I had both while pregnant, my headaches were so bad, all I seen were showers of stars falling out of my eyes, and blurred vision, at one point I couldn't see very far in front of me. I went from having 200 protein in my urine,  to spilling over 8,000. This is very serious and you need to get with your doctor right away.

I ended up being so sick, I had to give birth at 30 weeks. My son was born 2lb 12oz.

If this goes un-treated you are risking your life and the life of your baby!
