I just got a call from this number and when I answered I said Hello, and this guys starts blabbering in spanish so I hung up on him? What is this I searched the number and it seems he's been doing this to numerous people. He called my cell phone that I have with at&t.

Anyone else experience this? what is it?

  1. I called that number and got a message in English.  May be some type of mailing list follow up.  You can file a complaint, below.

    (Hope they stop bothering you..)

  2. I just got a call from him like a minute ago... he talked for like 5 seconds and then there was this static noise...it was so creepy...  Your question was the first thing that popped up when I looked up his number!! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one!

Kara - I got the call on my cell phone, which I only use to call my friends and family, so its probably just random!

  3. It's telemarketers they are just in different countries most of the time it's cheaper to pay someone half a crossed the world then to pay someone in there own country that's way when you answer the phone you might hear some indian person or spanish most of the time they are not in this country

  4. It might be a prank call or it could be telemarketers thinking that you live in a Spanish speaking household? Go to the website in the sources section to get more information.

  5. I Just got that same call on my cell, same number, spanish speaking, I was on the computer so I did a search, the area code is from Wichita, Kansas, weird, most likely telemarketing, there are many Mexican people from there, plus my last name is Spanish so they probably did it at random.

  6. I just got the same call. Something about "felicidades" ("happiness") so probably a telemarketer.

Anyone else who received the same call: Did you order anything over the phone recently? I did, and I'm wondering if that might have something to do with it...?

  7. maybe he speaks spanish
