Anyone know why our vaginal area swells up so big? I know the blood flow or whatever by my lord. It is 3 times the regular size and it hurts like c**p to walk. I am waddling like there is no tomorrow and my daughter hasn't dropped yet. Well somedays I am like yes she has dropped then others she goes right back up or so it feels like.

So today I have had a sharp pain on the middle right side (point to the middle of your right side and there it is) and the lower left side (by my lower hip so it feels) anyone know why?? Also why is my vaginal area swollen 3x's its regular size??

  1. I was like this with my second child. I thought something was wrong b/c my first didn't do this and it just hurt SO BAD! But, some babies just sit low and press on all the right spots to make it really painful. If you are at all worried, then definitely call the doc...but, from what I went through, it sounds normal. Hang in there!

  2. I know what you mean about your v****a being swollen!  OMG!  I hate this!  It hurts and throbs!  I had this earlier in my pregnancy and had a bacterial infection, but now I have it again and it's just normal pregnancy stuff my Dr says.  My Dr did tell me to try using Tucks pads, they will sooth the swollen area.  It doesn't seem to work that well for me.

I also know what you mean about one day the baby seems dropped the other days it doesn't.  Not sure what the heck is up with that.

My Dr did say that a lot of my symptoms are because my son is already head down, and this is my 2nd pregnancy so you feel these symptoms sooner.

Also off the subject your daughter is due on my daughters b-day!  Hope you get a Halloween Baby it's so much fun!

  3. Due 10-1 Why no one tells us about these things is beyond me.. Do they think they will scare us into not having kids?  I remember that feeling its common among some women.  Right around that time I felt as thought she would just fall out!  It would hurt like c**p to get up or sit down or roll over.  Pain almost that is hard to explain, but only lasting a moment or two at a time.   I promise it will pass and another will come :)  Wait till you feel the pressure in your bottom.. like you just jumped on a rock.  Awe the joy's of motherhood!

  4. your baby is getting into the delivery stance so the head is probably starting to get effaced, try laying down with pillows between your legs and do daily leg and back streches. I just went through this I'm 33 weeks along and just starting to get charlie horses at night in my legs when I sleep, its horrible!!!
