32 Vizio LCD HDTV or Samsung?

So I was interested in buying a new Television. Walmart has a 32 inch Vizio flat panel TV for just over $500. The majority of the reviews on Walmarts website are good, although there are a few bad ones. Has anyone had an experience, be it good or bad with this brand of television? I was thinking I may be better off paying an extra $150 for the 32 inch Samsung.

Oh yeah there was also a Vizio 40 or 42 inch for just under $750 which I was also considering. Anyone aware of how good the manufactures warranty is on these TVs? Thanks in advance!

  1. The Vizio is a third tier, disposable junk TV, whether LCD or plasma. Stay away from it and all the other brands you've never heard of before the last couple of years, or associate with cheap electronics or appliances, such as Vizio, Element, Insignia, Dynex, Polaroid, Ilo, and Westinghouse. Stay with name brands. For LCD, Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba, Sharp or Samsung. For plasma, Panasonic ONLY.

  2. ok id get the Samsung. Its a much better brand and its a nice clear tv screen. Vizio aint that great but its still a pretty good tv and since its bigger...

  3. No get a LG brand & that supports 1080P.

  4. Go with the Samsung if you can afford it.  You can't beat the picture quality and color.  My dad has a 26 inch Samsung and it looks amazing.

  5. Go ahead and buy it. Vizio is on its way of becoming number one soon. All the big names are losing big market share to this company based in California!

  6. Samsung is better.
