32 dpo and still no bfp!?

I regularly have long cycles anywhere from 6 weeks to 3+months. I started charting on fertility friend in june and according to their website, I ovulated on june 27. I am now at 32 dpo, and still no bfp. I took a first response early response on 14 dpo, 23 dpo, and 30 dpo. I was spotting for about 4 hours yesterday very light pink (which is unusual for me) and it stopped and has not started back. I have had a variety of possible pregnancy symptoms, but still no bfp. These have been my symptoms:

tender b*****s

nausea (in the first 2-3 weeks after ovulation)

increased appetite (in the last week)

a 5lb weight gain

increased cm

increased saliva

weird dreams

and the list goes on...

Should I go to the Dr. for a blood test? Or should I continue to wait for Af?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  1. I would wait another week or two if still no AF or BFP then go to the Dr.

  2. I would wait a little while longer before you test again.  I have irregular periods too and my tests always take about 5 weeks after conception to come back positive.  If you still do not have your period by that time and no BFP, then I would definitely see a doctor.  But other than that, the symptoms sound like early pregnancy, but it could be your mind playing tricks on you too.  I do it to myself every month!  Good luck!

  3. It's crazy...here you are, trying your darndest to get pregnant..and then on Yahoo answers, you see 13 year olds posting dumb questions about how they became pregnant and how they're so scared! *gasp*

It's almost a joke, really. My husband and I tried to conceive for a while year. Last year around Thanksgiving time, it finally happened. I think it wasn't happening for a whole year because I was stressing so much over it. I kept thinking about the baby. I kept counting days, researching my ovulation charts, reading about all kinds of crazy methods to conceive a child. I had baby on the brain. Finally in November last year, I gave up. I had a move to think about. I had to pack things, clothes, furniture...had to get an apartment, start paying new bills with my husband, make a road trip to our new state..things were hectic and I forgot about baby-making, and somewhere around that time, it happened. I think when you are anticipating a child, your body isn't going to respond only because of how the stress hormones are high even though you don't know it. And this can even put your cycle off. It sucks, really. I have some really helpful sites for you though..you should check them out:

Good luck..I know it's so freakin frustrating...but it will happen. Like I said, we tried for a year..now I'm 37 weeks and almost ready to say Hello to my own little one. I do wish you the best.

  4. I would continue to wait but don't give up! Keep faith and you will eventually get pregnant if your not already.

  5. I didnt use it but when I was trying to conceive people I knew found Fertility Friend would get their ov dates wrong. Light pink spotting sounds like implantation bleed (you would have to have babydanced more recently than 32 days ago though!), or early signs of AF on the way. Really hope you get the result you are after, please do not give up hope!
