32" Flat Sceen TV?

Question

I need a new TV, 32" to be precise. I do not know what to get. I primarily use it for just watching regular TV and an occasional movie. No gaming. I was looking at the new LG Scarlet, is that a good choice? I have a budget of $2000. Please Help! Should I get LCD or PLasma?

I would recommend an LCD as there are a number of complications with plasma. If your looking at 32" I would also recommending avoiding shelling out for a 1080p (full HD) set because you would hardly notice the difference from that and 720p on a 32"
